SANA Trial Edition (Windows) | Launch and checks
=================================================

This ZIP contains a portable trial app for Windows x64. No device is
included. For adults 18 and over only.
A Mac edition is planned for a later update. This document describes the Windows edition.
Version: 2.0 (internal version 2.0.0) Publisher: 機微堂
Document updated: 2026-10-02

Launch and language
-------------------
Extract the entire ZIP and open SANA_TRIAL.exe in the SANA TRIAL 2.0 folder. On first launch,
SANA uses Japanese if the Windows display language is Japanese and English
otherwise. The in-app language choice is saved. This EXE is not
code-signed (unsigned). On first launch, Windows SmartScreen may show a
warning. Choose "More info", then "Run anyway". You do not need to turn
off any Windows protection. Make sure the file came from your DLsite
download before you run it.

Browser edition (Browser folder)
--------------------------------
The Browser folder in the ZIP also holds the browser edition, SANA_free.html.
It is the same 2.0 HTML as the app, and you open it in Chrome or Edge on a PC.
It is for people who want to keep using the 1.0 free HTML edition in a
browser. The browser edition keeps its records inside the browser, separately
from the app. To move them to the product edition, use the same "record text"
described under "Move the result to the product edition" below.

Device checks and the trial
---------------------------
The author has confirmed operation and stopping with the VORZE Piston and
The Handy in the author's environment.
Whether SANA works with your own device: please try this trial first.
Other models have a communication implementation (try the free trial
edition to check them on your own device).
A communication implementation does not guarantee that a model moves or
stops correctly.

Before connecting
-----------------
Read SUPPORTED_DEVICES_EN.txt for requirements, connection methods, models,
and status.
See CONNECTION_GUIDE_EN.txt for Intiface Central and Bluetooth steps.
Learn how to turn off the device from its own manual.

Trial flow
----------
1. In section 01, choose the connection method for your device: Bluetooth,
USB serial, or Intiface Central. A device may move on connection, so test
   away from your body first.
2. In section 02, open baseline measurement. In Set, mark the near and far
ends and the position you feel most, starting with small movement.
3. In Check, compare the stop positions and five motions with the real
device. The bar estimates commands sent; it does not measure position.
4. The Shuttle gradually increases the same back-and-forth motion over up
to 10 minutes. Press "About to cum" to ease down toward the end. Use
the on-screen Stop control if anything feels wrong.

The trial covers connection and baseline measurement. It does not include
automatic learning, manual sessions, pattern choice, ratings, or a check
of all 36 patterns. A successful connection in the trial does not prove
that every product session or stop works on the physical device.

Stop and quit
-------------
Use the on-screen Stop or Cancel control and visually confirm that the
device has stopped. The stop status is not a sensor reading of physical
stopping. If you feel pain, numbness, or discomfort, stop immediately.
If the device keeps moving, use its own stop or power control. If the app
cannot confirm stopping or saving on exit, it offers "Return to SANA" and
"Check device and quit". Check the physical device first and stop it
according to its manual before choosing.

Move the result to the product edition
--------------------------------------
After measurement, copy the "record text" in section 03 and keep it
outside the app. The trial does not export a JSON backup.
For the same PC and Windows user, trial and product share
%LOCALAPPDATA%\SANA. Close the trial, open the product, connect the same
physical device used for the measurement, and check the transferred
baseline on the Baseline screen. The product
does not import while disconnected. If it already has baseline records,
select the import on that screen; existing records are not overwritten
automatically. For another PC or user, or if automatic transfer
fails, paste the saved record text into "Paste trial record" on
the product's baseline screen. The recorded device ID must match the
connected device ID. A different PC, OS, or connection route may give
even the same physical device a different ID, so pasting the text may
still fail. Keep the text as a copy; it does not guarantee import. The
former free HTML edition's browser records also require this manual
transfer. Keep the source records until
you verify the result.

Deleting the EXE leaves the records. To remove the data area, close both
editions, save any record text or product JSON backup you need, then delete
%LOCALAPPDATA%\SANA in Windows File Explorer. This also affects the
product. Text and JSON copies kept elsewhere must be removed separately.

Help and contact
----------------
If a device is missing from the chooser, check power, PC Bluetooth/USB,
and another app's connection. Via Intiface, check that Central and its
server are running and the URL (default ws://localhost:12345) is correct.
If records do not transfer, check the Windows user and use record text.
For support, use the inquiry function on the DLsite product page to
contact the circle (機微堂). Please include the SANA version (2.0), your
Windows version, the device model, the connection method, and what
happened. You do not have to send your records.
